Principle 6 of 6
Execution & Accountability
Execution and accountability complete the BreakThru Method: vision and belief become real through specific, measurable daily actions, reviewed honestly and shared with someone who will hold you to them.
Vision without action stays a daydream. This principle turns your vision into a plan you can see, measure and review. A few meaningful actions, done consistently, compound into change you can feel.
One intentional action a day
Each day in the Grateful & Becoming journal includes one intentional action: a specific step the person you are becoming would take today. It does not need to be big. It needs to be done.
Measure what matters
Choose a small number of measures that reflect real progress: actions taken, habits kept, conversations started. Track them visibly. What gets measured gets attention.
Accountability turns intention into commitment
Sharing a commitment with someone who will ask about it changes how seriously you take it. An accountability partner or group is not about pressure. It is about support and honest reflection.
Review, adjust, continue
Weekly reviews help you see what is working, what isn't, and what to change. Progress is rarely a straight line. Consistency matters more than intensity.
Exercises
Practice this principle.
Plan your next seven days
20 min- 1Write your vision statement at the top of the page.
- 2List three outcomes you want by the end of the week.
- 3Break each into daily actions that take 30 minutes or less.
- 4Schedule them, and tell one person what you committed to.
The weekly review
15 min- 1What did I commit to? What did I complete?
- 2What got in the way, and what will I change?
- 3What am I proud of this week?
- 4What is my one priority next week?
